To better address the special healthcare needs of women, University Medical Practice Associates offers experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNPs). They provide a wide range of well-woman care services, including:
• Family planning
• Preconception counseling
• Pregnancy testing
• Lactation consulting
• Menopause guidance
• Treatment of common female disorders and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
• Wellness and preventive care

Our WHNPs see patients at several practice sites in Manhattan, including the Upper West Side, Central Harlem and East Harlem.
