General Information
Cardio Diagnostic Services is an outpatient noninvasive cardiology diagnostic testing and imaging facility affiliated with St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. It has two convenient locations:
Midtown Manhattan - 425 West 59th Street, Suite 9C (between Ninth and Tenth Avenues). Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The telephone number is (212) 492-5590; fax number is (212) 492-5555.

Cardio Diagnostic Services offers the latest of state-of-the-art noninvasive diagnostic imaging. Echocardiography: transthoracic echocardiography (m-mode and 2D) with color Doppler, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and exercise treadmill testing. Difficult echocardiographic studies are performed with myocardial contrast for endocardial border delineation and spectral Doppler enhancement. Scintigraphy: Technetium-99m sestamibi (Cardiolite) exercise and pharmacologic (dipyridamole and dobutamine) stress myocardial perfusion, 201-Thallium rest-redistribution (viability), and MUGA (resting gated blood pool) studies. All stress tests are personally supervised by our board certified attending cardiology staff. The facility is the flagship center for our highly regarded clinical and research programs, lead by our internationally recognized leaders in diagnostic imaging.
All echocardiography studies are performed with a state of the art, Acuson SEQUOIA C256 ultrasound System. Nuclear cardiology studies are performed with a new Siemens E.CAM dual-headed nuclear cardiology camera.
Cardio Diagnostic Services is dedicated to providing patient-friendly, courteous, and timely service. All tests are scheduled in order to maximize patient convenience. Written reports are provided within 24 hours; pertinent test results are conveyed by a personal telephone call on the day of the study for discussion and consultation with our attending cardiology staff.
Physicians may request a copy of our noninvasive cardiac test request form for convenient scheduling of patient studies. We can also provide scheduling of urgent studies within 24 hours.
